Objective
The goal of this project was to develop two posters with dynamic logotypes stemming from song lyrics. Skills with type treatment and web design were developed with the process of exploring different layouts for these two partner posters.
Word Exploration & Font Treatment
There were a number of different approaches initially explored for the word choice and font treatment of this design. The beginnings of this exploration were helpful in deciding what could be the most effective in expressing the desired message.
Mood Boarding & Color Picking
With the lyrics in mind and the message that the artist was expressing in the music, the most fitting color options ended up being of a warmer palette.
Early Variations
All of the variations played on the idea of warmth and comfort, however, some of the early iterations were too busy and crowded or had some readability issues.
