Famous Couples Penguin Books Design
This project showcases an illustration design that combines elements from two significant storybook characters
Objective
This project was an opportunity to design a book cover for a title in the Famous Couples series by Penguin. The final design is meant to convey the representation of the characters Howl and Sophie as a whole.
Concept Development Phase
Before designing, it was essential to establish a clear idea of each character's main characteristics.
As well as map out some preliminary sketches for the cover design.
The two sketches here were the finalized versions that were chosen from when working toward a didgital design.
Digital Adaptation
After moving toward digital adaptations this was an early version of the book cover.
